Mazal Tov! Mazal Tov! Mazal Tov! Mazel Tov!

With deepest gratitude to G-D, we are writing to tell you of the joyous arrival of Chabad’s Children of Chernobyl’s (CCOC) 84th emergency airlift flight to Israel!

flight84

Flight # 84 arrived on the tarmac at Ben-Gurion Airport early Friday morning, erev Shabbos, March 6, 2009, bringing 16 children on board.

With all the joy that this new flight brings, there is also a sense of heartrending poignancy. For this flight, sponsored through the generous devotion and assistance of Lily Safra and the Edmond Safra Foundation, is dedicated to the memory of our beloved Yossie Raichik, ZL.

It was Yossie’s unending commitment, his unswerving passion, and his extraordinary fervor for the welfare and safety – and future — of these precious children that enabled CCOC to save the lives of thousands.

It is his legacy, and your wonderful partnership, that enable CCOC to carry on this vital work that brings children out of the contamination of the Chernobyl region, to the safety of Israel.

Please join with us in remembering Yossie and in celebrating his legacy. Together we have brought another group of children to Israel where their health and wellbeing will, with Hashem’s help, be restored.

Please celebrate with us this milestone in our campaign to save the lives of as many beautiful, precious children as we possibly can.
