Thyroid Cancer Still a Problem for ‘Chernobyl Children’

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — The latency of radiation-induced differentiated thyroid cancer appears to last longer than 30 years, according to researchers in the Ukraine, which bore the brunt of the Chernobyl nuclear catastrophe.
